The mission of Zoie's Place is to provide transitional services to homeless youth aging out of foster care to equip, empower, and prepare them for adulthood.
We envision a world in which all youth aging out of foster care are thriving.
Our Core Values
Advocacy — We believe in courageous advocacy. We are called to serve, defend, and protect those in need.
Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. —Psalm 82:3
Commitment — We believe in dedication, patience and perseverence.
Family — We believe in connections and permanency. We desire for each young adult to feel like they belong and theat they are loved and cared for.
A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. —Psalm 68:5
Support — We believe in supporting one another and helping each other in times of need.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. —1 Thessalonians 5:11
Wholeness — We believe in serving the whole person and their accompanying needs.
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? —1 John 3:17
